National wholesale insurance brokerage Worldwide Facilities has announced the appointment of Robert M. Parker to the dual positions of financial services practice group counsel and program development coordinator.

The firm said in a statement that in his new capacity, Parker will promote its financial services practice as well as facilitate the development of new programs. His duties will also include establishing a forms comparison database, negotiating enhanced endorsements and heading claims advocacy.

“We believe Parker’s hiring will bring significant value to our retail partners,” said Ron Austin, Worldwide Facilities president and chief operating officer. “With his expertise, we look forward to enhancing coverage, mitigating errors and omissions exposure and offering valuable industry reports to enhance new business development and renewal retention rates for our retail distribution base.”

An industry veteran, Parker has served with Kaufman Financial Group in its Burns and Wilcox subsidiary, and MGU where he was national practice leader focused on forms innovation.

“I believe we can accomplish great things together to the benefit of the independent agents and brokers who work with us,” Parker noted.
