Employee benefits general agency BenefitMall has hired Sam Patton (pictured) to serve as benefits sales executive for Colorado. The move is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its broker relationships and expand its market footprint across the state.

Patton brings a robust five-year tenure from a life and disability insurance provider, where he gained specialized knowledge in ancillary benefits, including life and disability insurance and executive supplemental disability plans.

“With his background in ancillary benefits, I am confident that Sam will continue to make a significant impact in employee benefits sales, serving brokers with integrity and expertise at BenefitMall,” commented Hadley Weiler, regional vice president for the West division at BenefitMall.

Earlier this year, BenefitMall brought in Christina Davies to take on the position of benefits sales executive for the Northeast region.

At the time, regional vice president of benefits for the Northeast Dave Mascia said: “Christina’s dedication to client satisfaction and deep understanding of the ever-evolving benefits marketplace makes her an invaluable asset.

“Her appointment highlights BenefitMall’s commitment to delivering top-tier support and solutions to our brokers and clients. We are confident Christina will play a key role in our continued growth and success in the Northeast.”

Working with a network of 20,000 brokers, BenefitMall delivers employee benefits to more than 200,000 small- and medium-sized businesses. The Dallas-headquartered group has been trading since 1979.
