New Jersey authorities nabbed a fugitive sought for insurance fraud charges in Arizona, according to the county prosecutor’s office.

Brian D. Mc Farland, 43, was arrested in Gloucester County this week as he faces multiple counts of fraud and theft in Arizona, where he is accused of taking nearly $500,000 from almost 90 insurance clients, authorities reported.

Officers from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Investigations Unit nabbed McFarland in his Swedesboro residence in New Jersey after tracking him down. He did not resist arrest.
The defendant agreed to return to Arizona in lieu of an extradition hearing, the prosecutor said in a statement.
