Major insurer names vice president to help manage distribution partnerships

Liberty Mutual announced yesterday that it has hired Brian Roth as vice president, Partnership Development. In his new role, Roth will report to Timothy Kastrinelis, senior vice president, Distribution Partnerships.

Roth’s responsibilities as vice president of Partnership Development involve “the strategic expansion of Liberty Mutual’s key broker and consultant relationships at the leadership level,” a release said.

“His expertise with all size buyers, vast product and service knowledge, and national network of industry relationships make him a vital addition to the Liberty Mutual Benefits team.,” the release further stated.

“Brian brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and expertise to his new leadership position,” said Kastrinelis. “He will play a key role in the development of business partner relationships as we continue to grow as a national leader in the employee benefits industry.  Our commitment to these business partners combined with our wide product offering and expertise helps brokers and consultants better meet the needs of their clients in this rapidly evolving market.”

Roth served a number of leadership positions prior to joining Liberty Mutual. Most recently, he was vice president, National Account Sales at Prudential, where he helped with the new business development of life, disability, and absence management products and services, as well as voluntary benefits.
