Global Bankers Insurance Group acquires Bankers Life Insurance Company

Move provides company an opportunity to “accelerate growth”

Global Bankers Insurance Group, a group of insurance and reinsurance companies, has acquired Bankers Life Insurance Company, it has been announced.

Global Bankers, the overarching brand for the insurance and reinsurance operations of Eli Global, said the purchase brings the firm “a dedicated and talented group of employees, a strong distribution network and a stable customer and liability base.”

“We welcome Bankers Life, its policyholders and producers into the Global Bankers family,” George Luecke, vice chairman & Co-CEO of Global Bankers continued.

Bankers Life Insurance Company, founded in 1976, is a provider of fixed annuity products.

John Muscolino, Bankers Life vice president of sales, said: “Our entire team is extremely excited about becoming a part of Global Bankers.

“Global Bankers gives us the opportunity to accelerate our growth and execute our strategy while maintaining our brand and identity. We believe our annuitants and producers will benefit from our inclusion under the Global Bankers umbrella.”
