The Target Markets Program Administrators Association (TMPAA) announced Monday that it plans to have a former Navy SEAL Commander host its leadership training presentation during the 16th Annual TMPAA Summit.

The event will be held this October, from 17 to 19, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Former football quarterback Peyton Manning was also tapped to serve as a keynote speaker during the event.

“Attaining functional excellence utilizing proven tactics, techniques and procedures is equally important for your business as it is in special operations military training,” said retired Navy SEAL Coleman Ruiz. “Every great team needs to exhibit a set of core qualities to be successful. I look forward to sharing this information with the members of Target Markets.”

“We are honored to have a real American hero come speak to our members,” remarked TMPAA president Heidi Strommen. “This valuable presentation will be followed at our event by Keynote Speaker, Peyton Manning, who will also discuss leadership in a changing world.”

“In addition to the unparalleled program market contacts available at our events, we recognize that no business can be successful without strong leadership and team development. Our emphasis on leadership and excellence at the 2016 Summit is a fitting way to celebrate the Association’s 15th anniversary of being the only industry organization focused exclusively on program business,” Strommen added.
