Worldwide Facilities announces acquisition of Sloan Mason

Managing General Agent expands to San Diego and adds to energy practice with the deal

Worldwide Facilities (WWFI) announced Thursday that is has entered into an agreement to acquire Sloan Mason Insurance Services.

WWFI, headquartered in Los Angeles, is a national wholesale brokerage and managing general agency. Sloan Mason, located in San Diego, is a wholesale broker specializing in coverage for the energy business, and related businesses.

Sloan Mason founder Paul Mason will join WWFI as a result of the acquisition and will be a WWFI executive vice president, in the new San Diego office.

The acquisition is expected to enhance WWFI’s energy practice and increase the breadth and depth of products available to WWFI’s retail broker clients.

“Sloan Mason’s specialized business model and industry verticals match well with our growing specialty product practice groups. Paul built a great business, and we are very pleased to have him and his team join our organization,” said Dave Moore, CEO of WWFI.

Mason founded Sloan Mason in 2001, and has served as president. “On behalf of my team, we are excited to become part of the expanding brand Worldwide Facilities has created. With technical and market expertise in our specialty areas, we know we will be a great asset to the organization and are excited to capitalize on the opportunities,” said Mason.
