Tech provider announces agency management systems upgrade

A major insurance tech provider announced sweeping changes to its already popular agency management system.

Investments in insurance industry specific technology are at a record high. In fact, IT spending in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific is projected to reach $162.1 billion in 2014.
 
The reason? The management systems agents use directly affects profitability and efficiency.

Vertafore, a provider of agency management systems to more than 20,000 agencies and carriers, has been taking advantage of the influx of both capital and interest. The company announced an upgrade for its entire selection of agent solution systems Wednesday, including its Sagitta, Vertafore Agency Platform and AMS360 products.

All three have all been advanced to the latest cloud, data, mobile and automation technologies.
 
Sagitta 2014 is designed for the specific needs of enterprise-class agencies. The system allows for rapid growth and can handle as much or as little volume as it is given. Updated services include analyzing and managing multiple lines of business, role-based security to control access to confidential data and the ability to work in conjunction with products like WorkSmart through the new Vertafore Enterprise Suite.

Beth Jerauld, Senior Vice President of Mesirow Insurance Services, greeted the updates with gratitude.

“The new enhancements are incredibly advanced, customizable and scalable, allowing us to continue meeting the growing needs of our enterprise,” said Jerauld. “The developmental efforts going into the Sagitta product are core to achieving our goals, and we’re looking forward to seeing additional innovations unfold in the coming months.”

Vertafore Agency Platform 2014 now enables a single application use, where independent agencies can manage every business need from retaining customers to increasing profitability. The production analysis report provides a thorough analysis of premium, revenue and gross profits. The “My Agency Home” feature brings up customer information immediately.

The AMS360 upgrade helps new agencies drive revenue growth and improve customer service with automated renewals, paperless management for all client documents and on-demand access to ACRORD forms.
