Lerone Sidberry is joining the company as President and Practice Leader for Employee Benefits in the Central Region, according to an announcement from Hub this morning.

“Lerone is a tremendous addition to Hub as an enterprise, and a valuable resource and leader for the Central Region as we expand our role as a consultant and product innovator for our employee benefits clients,” said Jack McGrath, regional president, central region, at Hub International. “We are excited to have Lerone on our regional team and know he’ll be a great asset to Hub’s employee benefits practice as a whole.”

Sidberry will be in charge of the central region’s employee benefits solutions around private exchanges, and data analytics for understanding benefits utilization, in addition to strengthening carrier relations.

“This is a unique phase in the evolution of our industry.  The consumerization of employee benefits and delivering decision-support technology are increasingly more important to employers,” said Sidberry.  “It’s an exciting time to take a leadership position with Hub as we deliver innovative and expanded employee benefit solutions for our clients and their employees.”

Sidberry previously served as the Employee Benefits Practice Leader at Lockton.  He has also held leadership consultative positions for Deloitte, Towers Perrin, and KPMG - providing counsel and strategic direction for employee benefit plan management at large and middle-market companies. Sidberry will be based out of Hub’s Chicago office and report to McGrath.
