A prominent Northeast workers’ compensation provider is likely breathing a sigh of relief today.

MEMIC, a Maine-based insurer and sponsor of the New England Patriots, got their answer on a legal challenge that has had the entire country watching: Patriots quarterback Tom Brady can officially suit up for the season opener.

A judge today overturned his four-game suspension for using underinflated footballs in a January playoff game.

A federal judge in Manhattan on Thursday set aside the punishment handed down by the National Football League, paving the way for Brady to take the field September 10 when the Patriots open at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bloomberg contributed to this report.
