ACE Group, currently in the process of integrating insurance group Chubb, set its sights on small businesses this week, unveiling an application giving  access to ACE’s account management systems and expertise in real time.

After an initial sign in to the ACE CRS Producer Portal, users will be able to navigate the dashboard to modify submissions, bind quotes and process renewals among other functions. The tool will be available to brokers along with ACE Group’s other products.

David Lupica, Division President at ACE CRS said: “Technology empowerment is what this effort is all about. The Producer Portal is just one of the many tools ACE CRS designed to meet the particular needs of small business owners in an intensely competitive environment.”

In related news, ACE also lifted the curtain on the future claims leadership team it intends to appoint for the company’s North America insurance division, once the Chubb merger is completed in the first quarter of next year.

Jeffrey J. Miller, currently SVP, worldwide third party claim manager and senior claim legal officer for Chubb, will serve as Executive VP, senior claims officer, North America – casualty, workers compensation and accident & health.

Douglas Poetzsch, executive VP and head of North American claims for ACE, will serve as executive VP, senior claims officer, North America – property and professional liability.

Miller and Poetzsch will have executive responsibility for all aspects of claims management for the North America insurance division, which will be led by John Lupica, who will serve as vice chairman of the new Chubb Group and co-president of the North America insurance division, and Dino E. Robusto, who will serve as executive vice president of the new Chubb Group and co-president of the North America insurance division.
